Late Position

You are in late position if you are the eighth, ninth, or last hand to act. Being the dealer or "on the button" is your most favorable position. Everyone has acted before you giving you information about their starting hands.

If someone bets or raises from early or middle position you must give them credit for a good hand and only play very strong hole cards against them.

You can add these starting hands to your playable list in an un-raised pot.

  1. Only play VERY strong hands from early position.

  2. Loosen up a LITTLE in middle position.

  3. Play loose in late position. Play more drawing hands if the pot is un-raised.
