Middle Position

You are in middle position if you are the fifth, sixth or seventh player to act.

Play small pairs against many opponents. You're hoping to make three of a kind on the flop and win a big pot. Remember the odds are 8-1 against that happening. The flop must fit your hand or you should fold, unless you flop a straight or flush draw.

You can add these starting hands to your list of playable hands only when the bet is not raised in front of you.
